Professional, Fair and Personable
Derek responded promptly to an email after we found him on Angie’s List. He came out within a week and realized our fireplace needed more work than he anticipated. He obtained parts for our old, rare unit and basically rebuilt it. He covered the surrounding area with a tarp and everything was pristine when he left. He thoroughly explained what he was doing and how to maintain the fireplace in the future. He was professional, fair and personable and we will not hesitate to consult him in the future. Knowledgeable and Helpful
I first called Derek because we couldn’t get the automatic pilot to light on our gas fireplace. I spoke with him on the phone and he thought it might be the batteries, gave me good instructions about how to try to replace them. I wasn’t able to do this and so he came out and he cleaned and tuned up the fireplace. Subsequently I had another problem with it, and he returned and fixed it at no charge. He was very knowledgeable and helpful; I have had trouble finding people to repair these units and other gas fireplaces in the past and very happy to have found someone who seemed to know what he was doing. A Regular Boyscout
Richard was prompt, clear, courteous and clean (a regular boy scout!).
I was having problems with my fireplace not igniting. He replaced the switch and the pilot light, cleaned the fireplace, and gave me an estimate for replacing the non-functioning fan. He was right on time, laid out a drop cloth to ensure no mess occurred in my house, and left the house cleaner then when he arrived. He did a great job!

Leaves His Boots at the Door
What a nice guy. Love that he took his work boots off when he entered my house. Told me not to worry about a thing and then at the end answered any questions I had and taught me about a few of the settings on my fireplace.
